Seasoning a Cast Iron Skillet


A couple of months ago, I bought a cast iron skillet.  Within a couple uses I managed to strip the seasoning from the pan.  I'm not sure how this happened, since I wasn't using soap when cleaning, but none the less it happened.  Since then I haven't used the pan, because I wasn't exactly sure how to re-season it.  Today I stumbled across this on The Kitchn.  I don't think the process could be easier!
